چکیده

this study has done to show the relation between metacognitive strategies with aggression and coping styles in shiraz high school students. methods: in this study, 360 individuals of shiraz high school students between the ages 17-19 (240 females, 120 males) in 88-89 school year, were chosen by multi stage cluster sampling. data collection was done with metacognition questionnaire-30 (mcq-30) by cartwright hatton & wells (2004), aggression questionnaire (aq), and coping styles questionnaire (csq).statistic data were analyzed by the use of pearson correlation coefficient, t-test for independent groups and multiple regression analysis. results: analysis showed that between metacognitive strategies and aggression, as well as between metacognitive strategies and ways of coping with stress in p
